Trey Anastasio Performs ‘The Silver Light’ At ‘The Beacon Jams’: Pro-Shot Video

Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio unveiled pro-shot video of “The Silver Light” from his “The Beacon Jams” residency of livestream concerts at The Beacon Theatre in New York City. “The Silver Light” was played on November 13, 2020 — the sixth of eight weekly “The Beacon Jams” performances.

Anastasio was joined on “The Silver Light” by Trey Anastasio Band members drummer Russ Lawton, vocalist/trumpeter Jennifer Hartswick, keyboardist Ray Paczkowski, percussionist Cyro Baptista and bassist Tony Markellis as well as vocalists Celisse Henderson and Jo Lampert. “The Silver Light” followed the evening’s “You Enjoy Myself” opener.

The Trey Anastasio Band debuted “The Silver Light” live at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on January 11, 2020. Anastasio penned the song with longtime collaborators Tom Marshall and Scott Herman. The guitarist included “The Silver Light” on Lonely Trip, a quarantine album Trey released on July 31, 2020.

Anastasio presented “The Beacon Jams” for eight consecutive Friday nights spanning October 9 and November 27. Proceeds from the livestream concerts went towards the Divided Sky Fund. Over $1 million was donated over the course of the residency which will be used to establish and run an addiction rehabilitation center in Vermont.
