Trey Anastasio Performs Phish’s ‘Carini’ At ‘The Beacon Jams’: Pro-Shot Video
Trey Anastasio shared official video of Phish’s “Carini” from The Beacon Jams. The performance took place on November 27 at the eighth and final edition of the weekly Friday night livestreams series at The Beacon Theatre in New York City.
“Carini” was the second song of the night, following the debut of “Just A Touch” that was performed mostly backstage by Trey on acoustic guitar with Trey Anastasio Band saxophonist James Casey, trumpeter Jennifer Hartswick and trombone player Natalie Cressman on backing vocals. That group walked to the stage by the end of the opening stage, and were joined by the rest of TAB, keyboardist Ray Paczkowski, drummer Russ Lawton, bassist Tony Markellis and percussionist Cyro Baptista. With Trey on electric guitar, they then delivered the first full TAB performance of “Carini,” which was debuted by Phish in 1997.
As noted yesterday, Anastasio raised over $1 million for the Divided Sky Fund through The Beacon Jams, the proceeds of which will go toward the establishment of an addiction treatment facility in Vermont.
