Trey Anastasio continued to roll out pro-shot video today from his November 6 The Beacon Jams livestream concert with “In Long Lines.” The entire Friday night show from The Beacon Theatre In New York City featured material from Anastasio’s 2019 Ghosts Of The Forest Tour around his album of the same name.
The November 6, 2020 Ghosts Of The Forest band consisted of Anastasio on guitar and vocals along with his Phish band mate drummer Jon Fishman as well Trey Anastasio Band members keyboardist Ray Paczkowski, bassist Tony Markellis and vocalist Jennifer Hartswick who was joined on the vocal riser by GOTF’s Celisse and GOTF newcomer (but recent Phish collaborator) Jo Lampert. An expanded Rescue Squad Strings — violinists Katie Kresek, Maxim Moston, Phil Payton and Mary Jo Stilp, viola players Monica Davis and Rachel Golub and cellists Eleanor Norton and Anja Wood — rounded out the ensemble.

The last time Trey played “In Long Lines” — which like much of the GOTF material deals with the death of Anastasio’s longtime friend Chris Cottrell — before November 6 was more than a year earlier on October 25 at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor during his 2019 solo acoustic tour, as per Phish.net. For the gorgeous Beacon Jams GOTF outing, the song came in the seventh slot during the 21-song set and encore.
