Trey Anastasio Performs ‘Pebbles & Marbles’ At The Beacon Jams: Pro-Shot Video
Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio shared official video of “Pebbles And Marbles” from The Beacon Jams. The performance took place last Friday, November 27 during the series’ finale at The Beacon Theatre in New York City.
“Pebbles And Marbles” began midway through Friday’s concert, which was the eighth and final edition of the weekly The Beacon Jams that began on October 9. Anastasio started the song on acoustic guitar while accompanied by Trey Anastasio Band bassist Tony Markellis, saxophonist James Casey, trumpeter Jennifer Hartswick and trombonist Natalie Cressman, along with the Rescue Squad Strings made up of Anja Wood on cello, Rachel Golub on viola, Katie Kresek and Maxim Moston on violin. Partway through the song, Trey switched to his Blonde No. 2 Languedoc guitar while TAB keyboardist Ray Paczkowski, drummer Russ Lawton, and percussionist Cyro Baptista emerged to contribute to latter half of the song.
Anastasio raised over $1 million for the Divided Sky Fund through The Beacon Jams. The money raised will go toward the construction of an addiction treatment facility in Vermont.
