Courtney Barnett Brings ‘Creature Of Habit’ Gems To CBS ‘Saturday Sessions’

Courtney Barnett cruised into CBS Saturday Mornings over the weekend. The Australian guitarist and singer-songwriter brought a trio of songs from her new album, Creature Of Habit, to the program’s recurring “Saturday Sessions” series.
The LP marks Barnett’s first album with lyrics since 2021’s Things Take Time, Take Time. Courtney put out an instrumental record, End Of The Day, in 2023 which soundtracked a documentary about her titled Anonymous Club.
The guitarist is set to tour around Creature Of Habit in North America this summer. Courtney will make stops in New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Los Angeles, among other cities.
For her “Saturday Sessions” performance, Barnett selected three tracks from Creature Of Habit. Courtney and her band offered “Mantis,” “Stay In Your Lane” and “One Thing At A Time.” Watch below:
