Role Model was the musical guest on last night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The project of Tucker Pillsbury delivered the television debut of new single “Harmony” for the late night appearance.
“Harmony” appears on Role Model’s brand new record, Chuck Timely & The Hourglass, which arrived today. Pillsbury and his band are set to head out on the road around Chuck Timely this fall.
Role Model heralded the release of the new album with his performance on The Tonight Show. Rather than playing one of the advanced singles — “Joy” and “High Hopes 3000” — Pillsbury selected the yet-to-be-released (at the time), “Harmony,” to perform on “Fallon,” where his band was appropriately joined by a larger chorus.
“We grew the band for this, which I’ve wanted to do forever,” Tucker told NPR on his updated Chuck Timely group.
