Trey Anastasio Performs ‘Bounce’ At ‘The Beacon Jams’: Pro-Shot Video
Trey Anastasio posted an official video of “Bounce” performed on October 30, 2020 during week four of “The Beacon Jams” livestream residency held at The Beacon Theatre in New York City. The Phish guitarist was joined by Trey Anastasio Band drummer Russ Lawton, bassist Tony Markellis, keyboardist Ray Paczkowski and percussionist Cyro Baptista on the song that originates with TAB.
“Bounce” entered TAB’s live repertoire in January 2014. Anastasio prepared a studio version of the track for his 2015 solo album, Paper Wheels. The performance of “Bounce” at “The Beacon Jams” started a show-closing sequence that included subsequent takes on “Bug” and “Architect.”
Anastasio held “The Beacon Jams” every Friday evening between October 9 and November 27, 2020. The free livestreams served as fundraisers for Anastasio’s Divided Sky Fund, which was established with the mission to build and operate an addiction rehabilitation center in Vermont. The series generated more than $1 million for the Divided Sky Fund.
