Watch My Morning Jacket & Margo Price Move The Earth In Nashville

My Morning Jacket and Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats closed out a two-night run of Eye To Eye Tour concerts at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater last night. Margo Price joined the quintet towards the end of their set for a cover of Carole King’s 1971 hit “I Feel The Earth Move.”

Price made her second guest appearance with My Morning Jacket in as many nights after teaming with the band on “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” in Nashville on Wednesday. Susan Tedeschi and Nathaniel Rateliff also contributed to the previous evening’s Rolling Stones cover.

My Morning Jacket opened the night at the Ascend Amphitheater with a 14-song set. The band went heavy on favorites including “Golden,” “Gideon,” “Steam Engine,” “Law Low” and “Victory Dance.”

Margo Price emerged to sing “I Feel The Earth Move” with Jim James late in MMJ’s performance. The Louisville rockers played the Tapestry classic twice prior. Both versions came in 2023 with Price adding to My Morning Jacket's Carole King cover at the Newport Folk Festival.

Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats treated fans to a career-spanning set in Nashville to punctuate the concert. Jim James came out towards the middle of the performance to duet with Rateliff on John Prine’s “All The Best.” James and his bandmates returned to join The Night Sweats, Margo Price, Devon Gilfillian and Jonathan Smalt on a show-closing “Feelin’ Alright.”
