Delicate Steve and Dirty Projectors’ David Longstreth performed together on Saturday at the “I Love LA” Eaton Fire Relief all-star benefit concert at Glendale Presbyterian Church in Glendale, California. The pair’s collaborative set included an instrumental cover of Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Under The Bridge.”
Bright Eyes, Madison Cunningham, Jim James, Lucius, Uwade and Kevin Morby were among the other participants in Saturday’s benefit show organized by promoter Sid the Cat. Proceeds from the event went to the Sweet Relief Musicians fund supporting relief efforts following the recently devastating Los Angeles area wildfires.

Playing dueling electric guitars, Longstreth and Delicate Steve started their collaboration off with a wordless version of “Under The Bridge.” The song about Los Angeles appeared on the 1991 RHCP album, Blood Sugar Sex Magik.
The two musicians continued with Dirty Projectors’ “Gimme Gimme Gimme.” Longstreth and Delicate Steve ended the set with Dirty Projectors’ “Dance For You.” Watch the performance below:
