Severe Weather Force Postponement Of Dave Matthews Band Concert At Minnesota’s Mystic Lake Amphitheater

Dave Matthews Band's Tuesday night concert at Mystic Lake Amphitheater in Shakopee, Minnesota was postponed after storms tore through the area. The show has been rescheduled for August 31, with all tickets for the original date valid on the new one.

Mystic Lake Amphitheater opened its doors for the first time on Saturday, June 20. The DMB show was supposed to be the third concert held at the Twin Cities’ first large-scale outdoor music venue.

Many concertgoers had already arrived when Mystic Lake Amphitheater officials announced the postponement just before 7 p.m. local time. “Due to ongoing inclement weather, we have made the difficult decision to postpone tonight’s show,” read a note from the venue.

As mentioned, tickets for last night’s concert will be honored on August 31. More details will be emailed by the venue to ticket holders.

Fans planning to attend the concert weren’t the only ones left disappointed by the situation. The show was set to be the first with an official recording made available for streaming the next day as part of DMB's partnership with nugs.
