Widespread Panic continues to dig into their vault to share pro-shot video from a February 2011 two-night stand at the Classic Center in Athens on their YouTube channel. The latest clip features the band’s performance of “This Part Of Town” which came during the first set on February 11, 2011.

The sextet’s hometown shows in Athens began a celebration of their 25th anniversary. Widespread Panic wrapped the run at Atlanta’s Fox Theater on Valentine’s Day 2011.

“This Part Of Town” was debuted live on November 27, 1999 at the famed Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia as per Everyday Companion. Widespread Panic included the ballad on their 2001 studio album, Don’t Tell The Band.

Widespread Panic shelved “This Part Of Town” for 137 shows after the death of founding guitarist and namesake Michael Houser. The song has been played regularly since its return in 2005 with the exception of a 53-show gap in 2016 and a 41-show gap spanning December 29, 2016 and March 16, 2018.
