Sturgill Simpson Announces Johnny Blue Skies & The Dark Clouds 2026 Tour Dates
The 29-date trek features stops at arenas across North America in September and October.

Sturgill Simpson detailed his Johnny Blue Skies & The Dark Clouds 2026 Tour Dates. The singer-songwriter hits the road with his talented band supporting their recently released album, Mutiny After Midnight, which was issued under Simpson’s Johnny Blue Skies moniker.
The new Johnny Blues Skies & The Dark Clouds LP was initially issued as a physical-only release. Mutiny After Midnight, which arrived today on Apple Music, debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 and topped the outlet’s rock and Americana charts.
The Johnny Blue Skies & The Dark Clouds 2026 Tour starts on September 4 at Moody Center in Austin. More September arena shows follow in Mew Mexico, Arizona, California, Washington, British Columbia, Oregon, Colorado, Missouri, Minnesota and Illinois through the end of September.
After a few days off, the tour resumes on October 2 in Nashville. From there, the trek hits Indianapolis, St. Louis, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Boston, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Washington D.C., Raleigh, Charleston, Atlanta and New Orleans ahead of a home state show in Lexington, Kentucky to wrap the tour on October 30.
