Little Feat Bringing The Last Farewell Tour To Japan In 2027

Little Feat will bring The Last Farewell Tour to Japan in early 2027. The legendary band will perform in Osaka and Tokyo in January, marking their first concerts in the country in nearly 15 years.

Little Feat will kick off the brief Japanese excursion at Festival Hall in Osaka on January 4. The band then heads to Tachikawa Stage Garden in Tokyo on January 6. According to FeatBase, Little Feat previously performed 21 concerts in Japan between March 7, 1978 and May 24, 2012.

The Last Farewell Tour began earlier this year as Little Feat starts the process of retiring from the road. Founding keyboardist Bill Payne previously explained that the farewell isn’t an immediate end for the group and is expected to play out over several years.

Little Feat welcomed a parade of guests during the recently completed summer leg of The Last Farewell Tour. Jackson Browne and Leslie Mendelson joined the band in Los Angeles, while Grahame Lesh and Miko Marks sat in the following night in Oakland. Guitarist Jeff Pevar guested in Grass Valley before Duane Betts came aboard in Jackson, Wyoming for performances of “Blue Sky,” “Southbound” and “Feats Don’t Fail Me Now.”

The Last Farewell Tour resumes September 10 at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium with support from Maggie Rose. Little Feat will spend September on the East Coast before returning in November for a Midwest and Southern run that concludes November 21 in Mobile, Alabama.
