6 New Albums From Ellie Goulding, Molly Tuttle, Amyl & The Sniffers + Others

British singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding released her sixth studio album, I Know Too Much, via Polydor Records. Executive produced by Jack Rochon, the 10-song set is the follow-up to 2023’s Higher Than Heaven.

“Making this album allowed me to bring everything together honestly, like journalling through music, a collection of songs that represent a certain time in my life,” Goulding said. “The album came about from the idea that maybe we can know too much, freedom comes from the ease of not knowing.”

Molly Tuttle shared a companion acoustic EP built around songs from her latest studio album. So Long Little Miss Sunshine (Acoustic EP) reimagines “The Highway Knows,” “Easy,” “Old Me (New Wig),” “Story of My So-Called Life” and “Rosalee” in stripped-back arrangements recorded with touring bandmates Vanessa McGowan and Mary Meyer. Steve Berns produced the sessions. Tuttle’s Grammy-nominated So Long Little Miss Sunshine album was released on August 15, 2025. The 12-track collection, Tuttle’s fifth full-length effort, was recorded in Nashville with producer Jay Joyce.

Australia’s Amyl and The Sniffers issued a live album Truth Or Consequence. The new live set and accompanying concert film documents Amyl and The Sniffers’ recent globetrotting tour which gained the Aussie punk quartet acclaim wherever they went. According to the album’s announcement, Truth Or Consequence is “a live album and concert film that captures a spectacular country-fried romp through the band’s discography, alongside two previously unreleased tracks as well as a cover of the Slim Dusty classic, ‘Lights On The Hill’” as per press materials. Longtime collaborator John Angus Stewart had the cameras rolling to capture Amyl and The Sniffers’ concert at the El Coyote in Los Angeles.

Sleep returned with a new album, Hempispheres, out digitally this week through Third Man Records. Bassist Al Cisneros introduced the new Sleep with “Have Spacesuit Will Travel,” the opening track on Hempispheres. The album is the band’s first following the departure of co-founding guitarist Matt Pike. Cisneros is continuing as a trio with the addition of guitarist Bubba Dupree and drummer Dale Crover. The newly minted trio cut Hempispheres at the Melvins’ studio with longtime engineer Toshi Kasai.

Australian sibling duo released their seventh studio album, Karaoke Bar, through Virgin Music. The follow-up to 2024’s Cape Forestier was recorded across Greece, France and Australia and was led by the title track, written on the Greek island of Hydra near Leonard Cohen’s former home.

“A night at a karaoke bar can hold so much goodness,” Julia said. “Everyone has the chance to be heard. And it’s so often more than that — a moment of real connection. We’re together singing with a roomful of strangers, and the things that normally separate us in life all fall away.”

Georgia-born singer-songwriter Medium Build (Nick Carpenter) released his sixth studio album, King of Having Fun, via Slowplay/Island Records. The follow-up to 2024’s Country was recorded live in-studio with musical director Paul Rogers, engineer Jimmy Manfield and collaborator Jake LiBassi, among others.

“I’m swinging for some big ideas, and I’m proud of how I showed up lyrically, leaving it all out there,” Carpenter said. “There’s a playfulness, sonically, and it’s a big collaboration, with six or seven people involved on almost every tune. I’ve never been good at writing about how nice it can be to be with someone. So this record feels like the first time I was able to say, in an artistic way that didn’t feel cloying, ‘Thank you for loving me.’ This album has a genuine love song for my partner and a genuine love song for my mom. It’s a celebration of life.”
