Joni Mitchell Adds 2nd Fall 2024 Hollywood Bowl Concert With Brandi Carlile

Joni Mitchell confirmed she will play a second “Joni Jam” concert with Brandi Carlile this fall at the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles “due to overwhelming demand.” The new show will take place on Sunday, October 20 following a previously announced performance on Saturday, October 19.

Tickets for both shows go on sale to the general public tomorrow (February 2) at 10 a.m. PT.

The upcoming Hollywood Bowl concerts mark Mitchell’s first full shows in Los Angeles since 2000. The legendary artist will take the stage at a different Los Angeles venue this Sunday when she plays the 66th Grammy Awards at the Crypto.com Arena. Joni Mitchell will be making her Grammy performance debut. The 2024 Grammys air live on CBS this Sunday, February 4 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Joni Mitchell has made a series of live appearances over the past two years. Mitchell took the stage with Carlile and a series of special guests for a “Joni Jam” at the 2022 Newport Folk Festival. Then, the pair starred in a guest-filled “Joni Jam” at The Gorge in Quincy, Washington on June 10, 2023. Joni also made cameos at Hollywood Bowl last year at a Wayne Shorter tribute concert and as part of a “Brandi Carlile & Friends” show.
