Green Day Launches 24/7 YouTube Stream Green Day TV

Green Day launched a YouTube streaming channel, Green Day TV. The platform offers 24/7 content “celebrating the band’s 30+ years legacy while showcasing exclusive, never-seen-before content,” as per press materials.
Formed in the Bay Area in 1986, Green Day — Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool — has clocked numerous accolades since releasing their 1994 breakout album Dookie. The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame band has amassed five Grammy-awards across 14 studio albums. Their 2004 rock opera American Idiot was adapted into an acclaimed Broadway show and the band continues to tour worldwide.
Joining fan offerings such as Green Day’s Idiot Nation on SiriusXM and the band’s upcoming NIMRODS film, Green Day TV boasts a continuous stream of content including “Green Day’s music videos, live performances, and archival footage of almost three decades of unseen footage captured across recording studios, music video production, tours, backstage content, and beyond,” the press release noted.
Green Day TV will also feature a weekly variety show, Transmission Unknown, hosted by Tré Cool. The program puts the spotlight on emerging artists with live performances, interviews, and original sketches, combining music and comedy.
