Foo Fighters Outline 2027 South America Tour Dates

Foo Fighters announced a four-date South American leg of their ongoing Take Cover Tour running through February and March 2027. The trek — which marks the band’s first trip to South America since longtime drummer Taylor Hawkins' tragic death on March 25, 2022 in Bogotá, Colombia — spans four countries, opening February 23 in Montevideo (Uruguay) and closing out March 3 in Lima (Peru).

Local support acts join the band at each stop. Niña Lobo and Gamepad open in Montevideo, followed by Usted Señalemelo and Pacifica supporting the February 25 date in Buenos Aires (Argentina). Adelaida and Aurora Voraz join for the February 28 show in Santiago (Chile), with Cometa a la Deriva and Lucy Perez rounding out the Lima bill.

Each show will take place at a massive stadium, among the largest venues on the continent. The performance on February 23 in Montevideo marks Foo Fighters’ first-ever concert in Uruguay.

Tickets for all four shows go on sale Thursday, August 13 at 10 a.m. local time.

Foo Fighters kicked off the North American leg of the Take Cover Tour on Tuesday night in Toronto. Dave Grohl and his bandmates will cross the U.S. and Canada through October 4. Dates in Australia, New Zealand and India follow to lead into the South America run.
