Joni Mitchell Announces Fall 2024 Hollywood Bowl Concert With Brandi Carlile

Iconic musician Joni Mitchell will present the “Joni Jam” featuring Brandi Carlile at the historic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 19. The concert marks Mitchell’s first confirmed headlining show in Los Angeles since 2000.

Joni Mitchell and Brandi Carlile initially presented the “Joni Jam” at the 2022 Newport Folk Festival. Mitchell’s guest-filled set at Newport orchestrated by Carlile was her first full public performance in 20 years. The “Joni Jam” concept was based on private performances held at Mitchell’s house with musical friends while she recovered from a brain aneurysm suffered in 2015. A “Joni Jam” at The Gorge in Washington state followed last June.

Joni Mitchell will make her Grammy performance debut at the 66th Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 4. The broadcast airs live on CBS and Paramount+ from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles starting at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
