Phoebe Bridgers is taking the album listening party to the stars. Ahead of the August 14 release of Lost Weekend, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter announced a global series of immersive planetarium events where fans can hear the record in full before it officially arrives.
Starting August 10, audiences at more than 40 participating planetariums will experience Lost Weekend alongside specially created dome visuals or laser shows in phone-free environments. “Each listening session pairs the album with one of two original visual accompaniments: a custom dome show, designed by renowned night-sky photographer Babak Tafreshi, or a unique immersive laser show designed by Laser Fantasy. Both presentations offer their own atmospheric perspective that turns the album’s first listen into a shared sonic and visual experience,” noted a press release for the immersive planetarium events.

Bridgers is also partnering with Spotify and Dead Oceans for an exclusive top-fan event in the Jersey City area, while more than 300 midnight listening parties are planned around the world on the eve of the album’s release.
The eagerly awaited Lost Weekend marks Bridgers’ first solo album since the release of Punisher in 2020. Bridgers previewed the set with “Lost Boys,” the album’s lead single.
On September 14, Bridgers will launch her The Lost Tour 2026 in Indianapolis. The trek hits arenas across North America and Europe through December 12.
