Phoebe Bridgers Drops Acoustic ‘Lost Boys’ After Back-To-Back ‘Fallon’ Appearances

Phoebe Bridgers released “Lost Boys (Acoustic)” on all streaming services. The single arrived after her second of two surprise appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she debuted the stripped-down version.

Night one featured the a performance of the original “Lost Boys” backed by a band of musicians ages 8 – 14. Night two showcased “Lost Boys (Acoustic)” with a band of veteran musicians, keyboardist J.T. Thomas and guitarists Dan Reeder and David Grier.

“Lost Boys” is the lead single from Phoebe Bridgers’ eagerly-awaited new studio album, Lost Weekend, due out August 14 via Dead Oceans. The 16-track LP marks the singer-songwriter’s first since 2020’s Punisher. Over 300 global midnight album release parties will take place on Thursday, August 13.

Bridgers’ unannounced visits to Fallon followed a series of May pop-up shows, which culminated in a sold-out concert at Madison Square Garden. Her sold-out The Lost Tour begins on September 14 and continues through December 12, with dates across North America and Europe.
