Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds took advantage of a night off from Dave Matthews Band's 2026 tour to close out the Greenwich Town Party on Saturday. The pair welcomed fellow event performers Preservation Hall Jazz Band to contribute to their “Ants Marching” finale at Greenwich’s Roger Sherman Baldwin Park.

Preservation Hall Jazz Band opened the main stage action in the Connecticut town. John Fogerty then treated attendees to a hit-filled performance ahead of Dave & Tim’s 16-song set.

Greenwich Town Party celebrated its 15th anniversary despite rain falling throughout the day. Tickets are sold exclusively to local patrons. Matthews was a return performer as he made a surprise appearance at the 2012 event for a solo set.

Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds kicked off their set with “Bartender” and went on to perform a slew of DMB classics, including “Grey Street,” “Crash Into Me,” “Two Step,” “So Much To Say” and “Dancing Nancies.” Reynolds used his turn in the solo spotlight to deliver a cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir.”

Preservation Hall Jazz Band’s Ben Jaffee, Branden Lewis, Clint Maedgen, Jafet Perez and Revon Andrews emerged at the end of Dave & Tim’s set for the aforementioned “Ants Marching.” The New Orleans-based outfit were no strangers to the song, as they previously performed “Ants Marching” with DMB four times between 2018 and 2022.
