Chance The Rapper Joins Lollapalooza Lineup & Announces New Album ‘Star Line’
The Chicago-native will perform at his hometown festival on Saturday, August 2.

Chance The Rapper will release a new album, Star Line, on August 15. The Chicago-native will also perform tomorrow (Saturday, August 2) at Lollapalooza in Chicago’s Grant Park.
Chance previewed Star Line with the previously shared single, “Tree.” The song that came out last month interpolates India.Arie’s “Video” and features rappers Lil Wayne and Smino.

The remaining Star Line tracklist entries were not revealed. Chance worked with longtime producer DexLvL on the pending album. The Star Line album artwork was once again created by fellow Chicago-based artist Brandon Breaux, who also made the cover art for 10 Day, Acid Rap and Coloring Book.
Chance The Rapper will perform tomorrow at Lollapalooza, with the hometown performance set to take place at Perry’s Stage beginning at 5:50 p.m. CT. Lollapalooza continues today and runs through Sunday. Hulu livestream performances from Grant Park are available to subscribers. Olivia Rodrigo headlines Lolla on Friday. Hulu’s Friday livestream schedule also includes Korn, T-Pain, Bleachers, Foster The People, Djo and others.
