Wilco Are ‘Tired Of Taking It Out On You’ On ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers’

Wilco returned to Late Night With Seth Meyers as the musical guest on Wednesday’s episode. Frontman Jeff Tweedy also sat for an interview during last night’s installment of the NBC television program.
The Chicago-based sextet delivered a performance of “Tired Of Taking It Out On You” on Late Night. The song is featured on the latest Wilco album, 2022’s Cruel Country. Last night’s appearance came as the band prepares to begin a three-night stand at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York this evening and after they pulled off a similar residency in their hometown.
Jeff Tweedy spoke with host Seth Meyers earlier in the evening. Meyers brought up Jeff’s relationship with Late Night house band leader Fred Armisen. Tweedy revealed his wife, Susan Miller, gave Armisen his start in show business. The vocalist/guitarist claimed Fred made a deal with Sue to give her a portion of proceeds from his career. Jeff Tweedy joked he was not happy Armisen owes his wife money. Additionally, Tweedy discussed a free burrito card he got from Chipotle and covering Black Eyed Peas.
