The Disco Biscuits kicked off a two-night run at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale on Friday night to close out their four-night Florida run. The jamtronica pioneers treated fans to a jam heavy, three-song second set.

Bassist Marc Brownstein, guitarist Jon Gutwillig, keyboardist Aron Magner and drummer Allen Aucoin came out swinging with the classic “Shem Rah Boo” before heading into more vintage tDB with “Down to the Bottom,” which last appeared during the band’s 2018 New Year’s run in their native Philadelphia. New tune “Freebis Slinky,” which the band debuted earlier this fall during night two of their tour opening run in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania came next. The Biscuits then turned to the Brownie composition, “Caterpillar,” ahead of another McKees Rocks debut, “Hero,” before returning to “Caterpillar” to close out the first frame.

The three-song affair got underway with more vintage tDB in “Mindless Dribble,” which, according to Phantasy Tour, contained a “Mathilda” tease from ska forerunner King Radio. The quartet would then play their way into another oldie but goodie, “Crickets,” with an inverted spin. The band then wasted no time in getting back into some ambient, “Tractorbeam” type jams. The extended jam section also contained elements of English producer Crackazt’s “Fly Away” and DJ Lukas Lehmann’s “maBri,” according to PT. The Disco Biscuits closed out the three-song set with another classic, “Munchkin Invasion.”

The band retook the stage for an encore of the favorite “Home Again.” Check out pro-shot video of the entire show below:
