Carrie Brownstein and Corin Tucker initially put Sleater-Kinney together in 1994. The pair have been joined by a number of drummers over the years with Janet Weiss the band’s longest-lasting drummer. Weiss joined in 1996 and parted ways with Sleater-Kinney in 2019.
A presale is currently underway with the code available by texting SLEATER-KINNEY to 29147. Tickets then go on sale to the general public this Friday, August 16 at 10 a.m. PT. Get Sleater-Kinney Olympia tickets through the Olympia Film Society.

Sleater-Kinney recently wrapped a North American tour in support of their 2024 studio album Little Rope. Several shows were canceled after Brownstein suffered a chest infection.
Brownstein and Tucker will bring the band to Europe and the UK for a tour that starts tomorrow and then will play a special show at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles on September 10. The hometown concert featuring openers Oh, Rose follows an appearance at the 2024 Hardly Bluegrass Festival in San Francisco.
