ShoalsFest 2026 To Host 1st Full Jason Isbell & Drive-By Truckers Set In 19 Years

ShoalsFest returns to McFarland Park in Florence, Alabama, October 3 – 4, 2026. The two-day music festival will feature two headlining performances from Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, with Isbell also teaming up with Drive-By Truckers to perform Decoration Day in its entirety.

Drive-By Truckers released their Decoration Day album in 2003. Jason Isbell joined the band in 2001 and was a member through 2007. Isbell has since reunited with his one-time bandmates in various configurations, but never for a full set. The special ShoalsFest 2026 performance on Saturday, October 3 will see DBT and Isbell play the complete LP from front-to-back.

S.G. Goodman and Steve Trash round out the lineup for Saturday, October 3. Jeff Tweedy, Willow Avalon and Steve Trash will perform before Jason Isbell And The 400 Unit on Sunday, October 4.

Jason Isbell founded the festival in his hometown of Florence, Alabama. The event came back last fall after a two-year hiatus.

Presale tickets can be purchased using password SHOALS26 starting at 10 a.m. CT on Wednesday, May 6. Tickets then go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 8 at 10 a.m. CT.
