The Shins Perform New Song On ‘A Prairie Home Companion’

Host Chris Thile brought his weekly radio program A Prairie Home Companion to Seattle’s Paramount Theatre on Saturday. His guests yesterday included Regina Spektor as well as The Shins who performed a new song during the broadcast.

As reported, The Shins are set to release a new album Heartworms on March 10 through Columbia Records. They this week shared the LP’s lead single “Name For You” which was played for the Seattle audience along with the debut of the album’s closing track “The Fear.” The Shins also worked up renditions of “Gone For Good” and “Saint Simon” from their 2003 album Chutes Too Narrow.
