Nine Inch Noize

Nine Inch Noize

  • The Null Corporation/Interscope Records
  • 12 tracks

Nine Inch Noize – the newly formed project featuring Nine Inch Nails members, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, with Boys Noize (Alexander Ridha) – released their self-titled debut album. Nine Inch Noize made their live debut last weekend at Coachella with Reznor’s wife and How to Destroy Angels bandmate, vocalist Mariqueen Maandig, performing with the group. NIN and Boys Noize recently completed their Peel It Back Tour that featured nightly collaborative set. The 12-song Nine Inch Noize tracklist includes remix versions of NIN songs, including “Vessel,” “Closer” and “As Alive as You Need Me to Be.” The record also features the How To Destroy Angels song “Parasite” and a cover of Soft Cell’s “Memorabilia,” which were both played at Coachella.

Revealing how Nine Inch Noize came together, Reznor stated:

“The creative fulfillment of working on the Challengers and TRON scores with Boys Noize led me to think that including him in the Peel It Back Tour could be an interesting way to express NIN in more purely electronic terms live – a concept I’ve wanted to explore for some time. The result was so much fun for us we felt it was worth expanding and formalizing in some way.

“On a whim I mentioned it would be cool to play a whole set as Nine Inch Noize in the Sahara tent at Coachella. Careful what you wish for…the next thing I knew we were designing a whole new show to present in the way it deserved.

“There’s no surprise tour announcement – this Saturday is it. I’m taking Sunday off and excited to be working on new Nine Inch Nails music Monday – I’ll see you when I come up for air.

“We recorded this album all over the place – some of it’s live, some in studios, hotels, planes, etc. We had a lot of fun revisiting these songs and hope you enjoy. Listen LOUD.”

Jessie Ware

Superbloom

  • Interscope Records
  • 13 tracks

British singer-songwriter Jessie Ware shared her first album since 2023, Superbloom, today trough Interscope Records. For Superbloom, Ware teamed back up with renowned producer James Ford, who also helmed her previous record, That! Feels Good! Additional collaborators on the new LP include Barney Lister, Karma Kid, Jon Shave and Stuart Price.

“Since What’s Your Pleasure? I’ve been trying out this fantasy world and escapism,” Ware stated. “I’m not the most by-the-book ‘pop star,’ but I do like to play with dress-up, glamour, and fun. While I love dance music, I wanted to dig deeper with this record; to connect with real relationships and appreciate the love I have, and the fears I have of losing it.”

I'm With Her

Sing Me Alive

  • Rounder Records
  • 20 tracks

Folk supergroup I’m With Her released a new live album entitled Sing Me Alive via Rounder Records. Sing Me Alive documents I’m With Her’s lengthy 2025 tour in support of their latest album, Wild Clear and Blue. The trio of Sarah Jarosz, Aoife O’Donovan and Sara Watkins included a stunning cover of Paul Simon’s “The Obvious Child” within the live record’s 20-song tracklist.

Benjamin Tod

Vengeance & Grace

  • Thirty Tigers
  • 20 tracks

Nashville-native singer-songwriter Benjamin Tod released a new solo album, Vengeance & Grace, today through Thirty Tigers. The album presents 10 songs recorded by Tod with a full backing band, and stripped, solo-acoustic versions of the same 10 songs. Vengeance & Grace follows Tod’s 2024 album, Shooting Star, and a string of subsequently released singles.

Vanessa Carlton

Veils

  • Liberman Records
  • 10 tracks

Veils is Vanessa Carlton’s first album in six years and seventh overall. The singer-songwriter’s follow-up to 2020’s Love Is an Art was produced by Dave Fridmann. Carlton shared the below statement regarding Veils:

“The album will of course mean different things to different people and that is what excites me. I had to embrace my own contradictions in order to see what the world of the album was going to feel and sound like. I love the metaphor of wearing a veil. There are so many layers to all of us. When I look back on the four year process, I see that I was gradually becoming fascinated with stoicism.”

Yaya Bey

Fidelity

  • drink sum wtr
  • 16 tracks

Yaya Bey released her fourth album, Fidelity, today through drink sum wtr. The album quickly followed the Queens, New York-born singer-songwriter’s third album, do it afraid, which came out last year. Samantha G., Anastasia Antoinette, Deem Spencer, Exaktly and NESTA appear as guests across various Fidelity tracks.

Joe Marcinek Band

JMB Live In NYC

  • Bent River Records
  • 8 tracks

Joe Marcinek Band released the project’s debut live album, JMB Live In NYC, on Bent River Records. JMB Live In NYC documents the ensemble’s August 26, 2023 concert at The Iridium Jazz Club in New York City. Guitarist Joe Marcinek was joined for the show by drummer Dennis Chambers, multi-instrumentalist Howard Levy, percussionist Jason Hann, pianist Jesus Molina, bassist Ola Timothy and vocalist Reilly Comisar.

“After releasing nine albums of original music I thought it was time to finally do a live album,” Marcinek explained. “I always considered my project more a live experience than a studio one but never felt I had all the right elements until this show. The playing was unbelievable and the setilst really reflected all my previous albums and truly gets to the core of what JMB is all about.”
