Recent Peel It Back Tourmates Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize fully embraced their on-tour live collaborations by performing a full set together as Nine Inch Noize last weekend at Coachella. The group’s self-titled debut album is set to be released this Friday, April 17.
Nine Inch Nails members, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, and Boys Noize (Alexander Ridha) were joined for much of the Nine Inch Noize set by Reznor’s wife and How to Destroy Angels bandmate, vocalist Mariqueen Maandig.
The setlist was mostly made up of remix versions of Nine Inch Nails songs, including “Vessel,” “Closer” and “As Alive as You Need Me to Be.” Massive video screens flanked the performers and choreographed dancers provided additional visual accompaniment throughout the performance, which also featured the How To Destroy Angels song “Parasite” and a cover of Soft Cell’s “Memorabilia.”
Coachella shared official videos of Nine Inch Noize performing “Heresy,” “Closer” and “As Alive as You Need Me to Be” from their debut performance at Coachella weekend one. Scroll through the visual highlights below:
