Barry Manilow Takes Break From Las Vegas Residency After ‘Pushing A Little Too Hard’
“We’re going to take a break until we return to the Westgate Las Vegas on October 8.”

After canceling shows over the weekend, Barry Manilow announced he is taking a break from his Las Vegas residency at the Westgate Resort and Casino. The renowned singer noted in a social media post that he had pushed “a little too hard” during his summer tour.
Late last year, Manilow rescheduled several dates as he underwent cancer treatment. Early this year, he axed more Vegas shows to prepare for his arena tour this summer.
In his most recent social media post, Barry told fans that while the arena run was a success, perhaps jumping back into a Vegas residency was a bit too much, leading him to cancel the remainder of his August and September engagements at the Westgate.
