Legendary rockers Neil Young & Crazy Horse officially announced details of FU##IN’ UP, a live album recorded in 2023 that will be issued on vinyl for Record Store Day on April 20 before receiving a wider release on April 26. The upcoming LP consists of nine songs from Young’s catalog reworked by the Horse and given new names such as lead single “Broken Circle” (previously “Over And Over”).
Neil Young is joined on FU##IN’ UP by the Crazy Horse lineup of bassist Billy Talbot, guitarist/pianist Nils Lofgren, drummer Ralph Molina and multi-instrumentalist Micah Nelson. Young & Crazy Horse will hit the road for the Love Earth Tour 2024 in support of FU##IN’ UP between April 24 and May 23. Those purchasing Neil Young & Crazy Horse tickets via Livenation.com starting tomorrow Friday, February 16 at 10 a.m. local time can elect to receive a physical CD of the album at no extra charge.

While most of the songs on the upcoming record were given new names, Young elected to keep the title of “Farmer John” intact. The move to change the names was done in an effort to “[allow] them to be here now,” as per a press release.
“In the spirit it’s offered, we made this for the Horse lovers. I can’t stop it. The Horse is runnin’,” said Neil Young about FU##IN’ UP. “What a ride we have. I don’t want to mess with the vibe, and I am so happy to have this to share.”
On April 20, FU##IN’ UP arrives as a clear vinyl two-LP limited edition including a litho print of the album cover at select independent record stores and through Young’s The Greedy Hand Store. Then, on April 26, the collection will be issued digitally as well as on black vinyl and CD.
