My Morning Jacket Brings One Big Holiday Back To Mexico In 2027

My Morning Jacket will revive their concert vacation at the Hard Rock Hotel January 14 – 18, 2027 after skipping 2026. The eighth installment of the destination event marks its return to Riviera Maya, Mexico following a 2025 outing in Florida.

The inaugural One Big Holiday was held at the Hard Rock Hotel in 2014, which also hosted installments in 2015, 2017 and 2024. MMJ moved the event in 2018 to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and to the Moon Palace Cancún in 2022. Last year’s One Big Holiday took place in Miramar Beach, Florida.

My Morning Jacket will reveal complete details “soon.” Previous One Big Holiday lineups have seen the host band joined by Futurebirds, Sylvan Esso, Deer Tick, Strand of Oaks, The War On Drugs, The Walkmen, Spoon, Toots & The Maytals and Dawes, among others. Preservation Hall Jazz Band has performed at six of the past seven events.

My Morning Jacket recently played their first gigs of the year at the High Water Fest in North Charleston, South Carolina and at The Revelry in Charlotte. Jim James and co. will make appearances at the BeachLife, Viva El Gonzo and Outside Days festivals this month. Additional festival plays will be followed in October by a seven-show San Francisco residency and headlining set at Hulaween.
