Watch Mumford & Sons Perform On ‘SNL’ With Hozier & Sierra Ferrell
Prizefighter co-producer Aaron Dessner also joined the band for performances of the new album’s “Rubber Band Man” and “Here.”

Mumford & Sons returned to Saturday Night Live this past weekend for their fourth appearance on the show and first since 2018. The trio was joined by surprise guests Hozier, Sierra Ferrell and Aaron Dessner during their latest visit to Studio 8H.
The band played two songs from their recently released sixth studio album, Prizefighter. Hozier reprised his appearance on the LP by performing “Rubber Band Man” with Mumford & Sons before Sierra Ferrell lent her voice to “Here.” Ferrell stepped in for Chris Stapleton, who is featured on the studio version of the song.
Prizefighter co-producer Aaron Dessner of The National was on electric guitar for both “Rubber Band Man” and “Here.” Mumford & Sons were also backed on SNL by Matt Menefee, Rob Moose, Darius Christian, Ryan Richter, Kylie Resnick, James McAlister and Lessie Conner.
Heated Rivalry star Connor Storrie hosted the episode. Mumford & Sons appeared in a sketch entitled “Office Dance” to sing a bit of “Unchained Melody.”

Mumford & Sons launch their 2026 tour with spring dates in Australia and New Zealand. The North American leg begins on June 2 in Vancouver and runs through October, with dates across Europe coming this summer.
