Chris Stapleton Pays Loving Tribute To Dolly Parton At Jones Beach
Stapleton performed Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” at his All-American Road Show Tour stop in Wantagh, New York.

Chris Stapleton brought his All-American Road Show Tour to Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York on Wednesday night, with support from Carter Faith. During the show, Stapleton paused to honor Dolly Parton, who died Tuesday in Nashville at age 80, performing her signature song “I Will Always Love You.”
Stapleton joined Jack White, Orville Peck, Geese and others who responded to Parton’s death from the live stage.
A statement from Parton’s family revealed, “After bravely facing a brief battle with cancer, Dolly departed her Earthly life today [August 25] at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center surrounded by loved ones.”
An image of Parton was displayed on large screens while Stapleton paid tribute to the country music legend last night at Jones Beach.
