Geese took the stage at Barrowland in Glasgow, Scotland on Tuesday, hours after the world learned of the death of country music legend Dolly Parton. The band honored Parton during a performance of “2122,” infusing a recording of “Here You Come Again” into the song.

Geese often incorporates covers while playing “2122” in the live setting. During Tuesday edition of “2122,” frontman Cameron Winter said, “Rest in peace Dolly,” before bringing his phone up to his guitar.

A recording of Parton’s hit single, “Here You Come Again” was playing from Winter’s phone, which he amplified by holding it up to his guitar pickups. Parton recorded the song, composed by Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, as the title track to her 1977 album.

A statement from Parton’s family released yesterday evening revealed, “After bravely facing a brief battle with cancer, Dolly departed her Earthly life today [August 25] at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center surrounded by loved ones.”

Geese’s European Tour continues tonight (August 26) with another show at Barrowland. Watch Winter honor Dolly Parton during the band’s concert last night below:
