Lonnie Holley Unveils Stirring Single ‘Kindness Will Follow Your Tears’ Featuring Bon Iver

Lonnie Holley shared a new single, “Kindness Will Follow Your Tears,” featuring Bon Iver mastermind Justin Vernon. The track is set to land on the renowned visual and sonic artist’s upcoming album, Oh Me Oh My, set for release this Friday, March 10 through on Jagjaguwar.

Produced by Jacknife Lee (The Cure, REM, Modest Mouse), Holley previewed Oh Me Oh My in January with the title track featuring R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe. Lonnie continued the record rollout with, “I Am A Part Of The Wonder,” which contains contributions from Moor Mother. Elsewhere on the album are guest spots from Sharon Van Etten and Rokia Koné.

The final advance single sees Holley teaming up with Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, who added vocals, drums and guitar. Watch the official video for “Kindness Will Follow Your Tears” below:
