Lonnie Holley Shares Reflective Single ‘I Am A Part Of The Wonder’ Featuring Moor Mother
The track appears on Holley’s upcoming new album, Oh Me Oh My.

Lonnie Holley will release a new album, Oh Me Oh My, on March 10 through Jagjaguwar. The Atlanta-by-way-of-Alabama artist shared the album’s latest single, “I Am A Part Of The Wonder,” featuring Moor Mother.
Holley, a musician and artist whose visual art is featured in the collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art and National Gallery of Art, worked with several other guest musicians on the Oh Me Oh My, which follows his 2018 Jagjaguwar debut, MITH. Along with Moor Mother, outside contributions came from Michael Stope of R.E.M., Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, Sharon Van Etten and Rokia Koné.
“I Am A Part Of The Wonder” was written by Holley, along with Moor Mother (poet/musician Camae Ayewa) and Oh Me Oh My producer Jacknife Lee. The track also features Lee on percussion, drums, bass, marimba, kalimba, vocals, keyboards, and synthesizer programming.
