JAŸ-Z Welcomes The Fugees At London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Jay-Z came to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Friday and Saturday. The opening show saw the hip-hop great welcoming Fugees toward the end of the concert.

Following his landmark hometown run at Yankee Stadium to kick off his JAŸ-Z 30 Tour, the rapper headed across the pond to kick off the first of two concerts at Tottenham Hotspur.

The concert in London got underway with actor/musician Idris Elba delivering an intro followed by JAŸ-Z offering favorites like “Izzo (H.O.V.A.),” “Empire State Of Mind,” “Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem),” “99 Problems” and “Dirt Off Your Shoulder.”

JAŸ-Z began rolling out guests beginning with DJ Khaled (“GOD DID”). Hov then brought out British rapper Giggs for a link up of the latter’s “Talkin the Hardest” and an interpolation of Guns N’ Roses classic “Welcome To The Jungle.”

The Fugees, Ms. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean, then emerged for a trio of songs from the Fugees catalog. The mini-Fugees concert began with “Ready Or Not” followed by “Killing Me Softly” and “Fu-gee-La.”

Following Fugees, JAŸ-Z wished his wife Beyoncé, who was at the show in London, a happy birthday. Hov then offered a mashup of “Ni**as In Paris” and “Big Pimpin.” The show came to a close with JAŸ-Z’s 2004 collaboration “Numb/Encore.”
