Trey Anastasio & Billy Strings Team Up For Divided Sky Foundation Benefit Concerts

Trey Anastasio and Billy Strings will join forces for a pair of benefit concerts supporting the Divided Sky Foundation. Billed as “Trey & Billy,” the guitarists will perform together with Trey Anastasio Band on November 20 and 21 at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.

All proceeds from the concerts will benefit the Divided Sky Foundation, the nonprofit Anastasio co-founded with his former drug court case manager Melanie Gulde. The organization operates the Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program in Ludlow, Vermont, with a mission of making high-quality addiction recovery care more affordable and accessible.

Anastasio and Strings first performed together in June 2022, when Trey joined Billy Strings for the final six songs of a concert at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City. Strings returned the favor that November, making a surprise appearance with Trey Anastasio Band during the TAB/Goose tour stop at EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Virginia.

The guitarists reunited onstage in August 2024, when Strings joined Phish for portions of the first and second nights of a two-show run at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The latter performance featured the Phish debut of “What’s Going Through Your Mind,” along with a mix of Phish songs, bluegrass favorites and other material.

Most recently, Anastasio welcomed Strings during his June 17, 2026 acoustic concert at Frederik Meijer Gardens Amphitheater in Grand Rapids. Billy joined Trey for the back half of the show, teaming with Anastasio on Phish material, Strings originals and covers before closing the night together with “First Tube.”

Anastasio and Gulde’s Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program opened in November 2023. A three-night Phish benefit run held at Albany’s MVP Arena in October 2024 raised more than $4 million for the organization. Anastasio also staged three Beacon Jams fifth-anniversary concerts benefiting Divided Sky at New York City’s Beacon Theatre in November 2025.

A limited number of tickets and Patron Packages for the Worcester benefits are currently available via a presale request period running through Wednesday, September 9 at 3 p.m. ET. Requests will be processed and notifications sent by 11:59 p.m. ET on Thursday, September 10.

Remaining tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 11 at 10 a.m. ET.
