The Highwomen & Jimmy Fallon Cover Fleetwood Mac

The Highwomen – Brandi Carlile, Amanda Shires, Maren Morris and Natalie Hemby – teamed with Jimmy Fallon to record a cover of “The Chain” by Fleetwood Mac. Video of the performance was shared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’s YouTube channel.

Fallon and The Highwomen were backed by guitarist (and Amanda’s husband) Jason Isbell as well as Carlile’s band mates bassist Phil Hanseroth and guitarist Tim Hanseroth for the acoustic take on the song Fleetwood Mac released on 1977’s Rumours. The Highwomen, who made their television debut last month on Fallon, originally recorded their cover of “The Chain” for inclusion in the film The Kitchen.
