The Highwomen — a supergroup supergroup featuring Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris, Natalie Hemby and Amanda Shires — recorded a rendition of Fleetwood Mac‘s “The Chain” for inclusion in the movie The Kitchen. A trailer for the film contains a portion of The Highwomen’s “The Chain.”

The Kitchen is due out on August 9 and features Melissa McCarthy, Elisabeth Moss and Tiffany Haddish. The film is based on Ollie Masters and Ming Doyle’s Vertigo comic book miniseries. McCarthy, Moss and Haddish star as wives of Irish mobsters in New York City from the ’70s who step up to fill their husband’s roles after the men are arrested. As Rolling Stone noted, The Highwomen confirmed their cover of the song from Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 album, Rumours in response to a tweet asking if they would be “doing any old Texas country covers like The Highwaymen did?”

The Highwomen will issue their self-titled debut album through Low Country Sound/Elektra Records on September 6. The quartet released its debut single, “Redesigning Women,” last week.
