By Scott Bernstein May 24, 2018 1:50 pm PDT

Living legend Bob Dylan was born in Duluth, Minnesota on this date in 1941. The 77-year-old artist is one of the most influential musicians of our time with over 35 studio albums to his credit and hundreds of songs spanning many different genres. Dylan has not slowed down in recent years as he continues what has been called a “never ending tour” and issued a triple-album filled with covers of standards in 2017.

Bob Dylan has performed with a vast array of collaborators from nearly every corner of the music world since first taking the stage. In 1986, Bob embarked on the 60-show True Confessions Tour with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. Highlights from a two-night stand at Sydney’s Sydney Entertainment Centre were assembled for a long out-of-print concert film entitled Hard To Handle. Petty and his band did a fine job backing Bob Dylan on such classics as “Just Like A Woman,” “Like A Rolling Stone,” “Ballad Of A Thin Man” and “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door.”
