Guns N’ Roses, LCD Soundsystem & Calvin Harris To Headline Coachella 2016

The 2016 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will take place over consecutive weekends on April 15 – 17 and April 22 – 24. Organizers have revealed the lineup for this year’s iteration of the festival at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California and two of the headliners are the reunited Guns N’ Roses and LCD Soundsystem. Also slated to headline is electronic musician Calvin Harris.

The rumors that have been swirling for months regarding the possible reunions of both GnR and LCD have now proven true. According to the previous reports, GnR’s reformation will include both guitarist Slash and frontman Axl Rose who last shared the stage together in 1993. LCD Soundsystem last performed together at a farewell concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City in April 2, 2011.

Other acts confirmed for both Coachella weekends include Sufjan Stevens, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Courtney Barnett, Gary Clark Jr., Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Arcs, Kamasi Washington, Chris Stapleton and many more.
