Greensky Bluegrass Steps In For Tedeschi Trucks Band On FloydFest 2026 Lineup
The festival begins today, July 22 and runs through Sunday, July 26.

Greensky Bluegrass have been tapped to fill Tedeschi Trucks Band's main-stage slot at FloydFest 2026. The jamgrass outfit will headline this Friday, July 24 at the five-day festival held at FestivalPark in Check, Virginia.
Tedeschi Trucks Band was forced to cancel appearances at this weekend's Newport Folk & FloydFest festivals due to Susan Tedeschi's appendix surgery. Father John Misty has replaced TTB on the Newport Folk lineup.
Greensky Bluegrass are no strangers to FloydFest, having performed at the event several times in the past dating back to 2016. “We look forward to sharing the magic and music of Greensky Bluegrass with FloydFest’s 2026 Daydreamers,” organizers said in a statement. “While we are elated and grateful for Greensky’s addition, the Tedeschi Trucks family remains in the heart and minds of the FloydFest Family, and we continue extending our sincerest wishes for a thorough and speedy recovery.”
FloydFest 26~Daydream begins today, July 22 and runs through Sunday, July 26. GSBG are joined on the festival’s 2026 lineup by My Morning Jacket, Railroad Earth, The Word, Andy Frasco & The U.N., Lukas Nelson, Larkin Poe, Stephen Wilson Jr., Chuck Prophet, The Dip and over 20 additional acts.
