Susan Tedeschi Appendix Surgery Forces Tedeschi Trucks Band To Cancel Festival Appearances

Tedeschi Trucks Band canceled their upcoming appearances at FloydFest and Newport Folk Festival. In a social media post, vocalist/guitarist Susan Tedeschi cited appendix surgery as the reason for the cancellations.
The TTB was set to perform at both Newport Folk Festival and FloydFest this weekend. With the cancellations, the band’s next scheduled shows are their annual run at Red Rocks in Colorado. In her post, Tedeschi noted that she is “incredibly disappointed” to cancel but added “I’ll be back on my feet before you know it.”
