The No. 60 SiriusXM Honda driven by Felix Rosenqvist will be fashioned with a custom design commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Grateful Dead at the next two IndyCar races. Rosenqvist will drive the custom car this weekend at Laguna Seca and then on August 10 at Portland International Raceway.
The one-of-a-kind livery is the latest offering from a partnership between Meyer Shank Racing and SiriusXM. The Grateful Dead Channel (Channel 23) is one of SiriusXM’s longest-running artist-branded channels. Previous livery designs used for Rosenqvist’s ride have represented Creed/SiriusXM’s Turbo and Ozzy Osbourne/SiriusXM’s Ozzy’s Boneyard.

Laguna Seca is a fitting racetrack to host the debut of Rosenqvist’s tie-dyed Grateful Dead livery. The band took over the Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, California for concerts held on May 9 and 10, 1987 and again from July 29 – 31, 1988. Bruce Hornsby first opened for the Dead at Laguna Seca in 1987 and would go on to join the group temporarily from September 1990 to March 1992.
The new livery arrives just ahead of Dead & Company's sold-out concerts at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco August 1 – 3 honoring 60 years of Grateful Dead music. Rosenqvist’s No. 60 Honda with the Grateful Dead livery will be on display at the official Dead & Company merch store at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Wednesday, July 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
