Drake Surprises Don Toliver’s Toronto Crowd With ‘Iceman’ Live Debuts

Drake performed material from one of his three new albums, Iceman, live for the first time on Monday during a surprise appearance at Don Toliver's concert at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. The hometown rapper debuted three Iceman tracks as part of his unannounced mini-set.

Drake emerged during Toliver’s Nitrous - Octane World Tour Leg 2 stop and opened his cameo with the live debut of “Shabang.” He followed with the first performance of “Burning Bridges” before completing the three-song run with “Janice STFU.” The latter topped the Billboard Hot 100 after Iceman arrived in May alongside Maid of Honour and Habibti.

Toliver took a moment afterward to acknowledge Drake’s influence. “I appreciate you for inspiring us all,” Toliver told him. “You know damn well this shit wouldn’t be this shit if you ain’t do this shit, bro. I appreciate you so much. You inspired me, and you inspired all of us.”

Drake returned the praise while confirming the significance of his appearance. “I just wanna thank Don for having me out tonight,” Drake said. “This is my first time performing the album since it dropped, so thank you for being here.”

“I love this thing that we do so much,” Drake added. “In front of the city, I just want to thank you for keeping this shit alive. You’ve had an incredible year.”
