Dead & Company’s Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary Bash Finale Gets Cinematic Sendoff In IMAX

Dead & Company's performance on Sunday, August 3 will stream live from San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park to select IMAX screens across North America. The concert is the band’s third of three consecutive shows celebrating 60 years of Grateful Dead music.

While tickets to attend all three shows in person quickly sold out, fans can watch the action live from Golden Gate Park complete with IMAX’s signature immersive visuals and precision sound. The concerts will air from 6 – 10 p.m. PT — with a 30-minute intermission — at dozens of IMAX locations in the U.S. and Canada on Sunday, August 3.

Tickets are on sale now at imax.com/deadandcompany. Purchases include a commemorative poster and a laminate/lanyard, each of which will be handed out onsite.

Dead & Company features Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir and Mickey Hart along with guitarist John Mayer, bassist Oteil Burbridge, drummer Jay Lane and keyboardist Jeff Chimenti. The concerts at Golden Gate Park will start with 75-minute sets from special guests Billy Strings on Friday, August 1; Sturgill “Johnny Blue Skies” Simpson on Saturday, August 2 and Trey Anastasio Band on Sunday, August 3.
