Warren Haynes has spent the bulk of 2024 focusing on his Warren Haynes Band project. The upcoming New Year’s Run will be the Gov’t Mule’s first headlining shows together since ending their “30 Years Strong Tour” in February.
The Beacon Theatre has hosted Gov’t Mule’s New Year’s Eve concerts since 2002. Exceptions came in 2008, when the venue was undergoing renovations, and 2020 – 2022 due to COVID and injuries.
“It’s hard to believe it’s been 30 years,” said Haynes in a statement. “It’s also hard to believe we’ve been celebrating New Year’s together for over 20 years. These are always such special shows for us. I’m looking forward to being with the band revisiting some of the stuff we haven’t played in a long, long time and, of course, being with our incredible fans.”
