Goose shared pro-shot video of their performance of “Rosewood Heart” from their concert last night in Portland. The footage comes from the second set of Thursday’s opening show of a two-night stand at the Wonder Ballroom.
Goose got things underway with “Echo Of A Rose” serving as the evening’s first song. Leaving the opener unfinished, the band transitioned into “The Whales.” The set continued with the recently debuted “Dr. Darkness,” followed by “Travelers” and a transition back to a jammed-out completion of “Echo Of A Rose.” The first half closed out with “Bob Don.”
A five-song second set was initiated with “Rockdale.” The band then dug into “Rosewood Heart,” taking the original into a lengthy improvised sequence that spanned 22-minutes. Out of the “Rosewood Heart” came “Indian River.” The rest of set two consisted of “Welcome To Delta” and another recently added original, “Pancakes.” Goose filled the encore with a pairing of “White Lights” and a cover of “Shama Lama Ding Dong” by Otis Day and the Knights.
Goose returns to the Wonder Ballroom again tonight. Find a link to their full tour schedule below the pro-shot video of last night’s “Rosewood Heart”:
